MATCHING THE FODDER PRODUCTION WITH NUTRIENT REQUIREMENTS OF CATTLE AND BUFFALO FOR IMPROVED MILK PRODUCTION OF PUNJAB PAKISTAN.

Project

A project (PARB 20-116) entitled “Matching the Fodder Production with Nutrient Requirements of Cattle and Buffalo for Improved Milk Production of Punjab Pakistan” comes to life with the funding of the Punjab Agriculture Research Board (PARB). The Department of Animal Nutrition, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore (UVAS) is the host institute, and the Department of Livestock Management, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) is acting as a collaborator in this project. The project aims to revolutionize Punjab’s milk production by precisely aligning fodder production with the nutritional requirements of cattle and buffalo.  This collaborative effort will enhance the sustainable milk production of Punjab Pakistan by the application of scientific expertise and agricultural innovation to create a more prosperous dairy industry for Punjab Pakistan.
